The Jacksons: Katlyn's 1st Christmas!

What a wonderful Christmas we had! It was so much fun having Katlyn's 1st Christmas! It was a very busy month with shopping, work, Christmas break, family visiting, etc. and we enjoyed every single second of it! Katlyn was 9 months on Christmas eve and I think she is a perfect age for all the festivities! We've taken many photos over the month for Christmas...so many it was hard to choose which to post!
Our Christmas day started out at home with just the 3 of us. Once Katlyn was awake we brought her in the living room to see what all Santa had left for her! We weren't sure she would even care, but she did! She looked all around and went straight for the new stuff! Of course Santa didn't wrap what he left so she could play with it right away! Santa really spoiled her this year! We took our time opening gifts and emptying out our stockings, then going through everything a couple more times, and then got ready to start our day visiting family. Lu-Lu and Grandmaw Bon came over to see what all Katlyn got before we left for the day. Our first stop was to Granddad's. We had a great time! Lunch and gifts galore! Katlyn got a Tickle Me Elmo from Granddad and lots of other great gifts from Uncle Robby and Vickie(Pooh bear blankie & drums), and Aunt Missy ("boots with the fur", a barbie movie, and a Barbie). Next we went to Aunt Debbie's house for Christmas and had more food and presents! Katlyn was rather spoiled the entire day! She got some stuffed animals and DVD's from Uncle David, including a Smurf! She got a ride on lion, shopping cart, Pooh books, Elmo sounds book, 2 outfits, and more from the Allison's! She had fun crawling all over the wrapping paper and boxes! Later we went to my Pop and Lu-Lu's to have our last Christmas of the day! Katlyn got a car, a baby doll (Baby Stella), and a Fisher Price Nativity from Pop and Lu-Lu and a bird charm for her bracelet and bat, ball, and tee from Aunt Meredith and Uncle Chris. She also got 2 baby dolls and a pair of shoes from Aunt LaRue and Uncle Allen and a Bop Ball from Jeff, Kristy, Brooks, and Braden! I probably don't have to tell you that our house looks like a toy store now! It's been so much fun though and we have been so blessed with such a wonderful family and friends! It was a very Merry 1st Christmas for our Katlyn! We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, too!
