Thanks for checking in on us! I hope to get better at this and do it more frequently when the baby gets here...she's who we are all waiting on anyway, isn't she?!?!
I wanted to update everyone on where we are right now. We are now a little over 37 weeks. About 2 Fridays ago, we had our 36 week appointment and were surprised to see that my typically perfect blood pressure was up above where they like it and there was protein in my urine. On top of that my feet, toes, legs, and knees were swelling up like hams(on top of that I had gained 7 pounds in 2 weeks!!!), soooo they decided to have us come back on Wednesday and see what was happening. They discussed preeclampsia with us and how the baby is absolutely fine and not effected at all by it, just me...thank God! Wednesday I had even higher blood pressure, protein and blood in my urine and the swelling wasn't any better plus I had gained another 3 pounds in just that amount of time. They assured me it was all "water weight", but too much water weight. I had really tried to keep my feet up, but it's not that easy when you teach special needs preschool! They decided to have me rest a lot, try to keep my feet up, and do a 24 hour urine collection on Sunday and come back Monday afternoon. I know you all really wanted to read about urine, but that's just part of it, so, sorry! Did that, got a call that morning that I was supposed to have my blood drawn, as well, which I didn't realize was happening in the morning. I understood it was going to be done at our appt. that afternoon. Anyway, I went to the doctor to have my blood drawn "real quick" and return to school and got there for a full blown appointment. I wasn't very happy because Matt had taken half a day off to be at the afternoon appointment and on top of that, it is not nice to mess up a pregnant womans schedule!! I was pretty upset to say the least and couldn't get my phone to get service and call Matt. Luckily, I had called my Mom on my way there and she just happened to show up at the perfect time!!! She called Matt and he got there, too, which made me feel so much better! Due to the fact the blood pressure was still high, I still had protien in my urine and that my feet/legs were still swollen, the doctor took me out of work from here on out....without Matt even having to say a word, because he was convinced I did not need to be working after taking my blood pressure all weekend and seeing my feet grow bigger than ever. He is such a good doctor!! She also said she doesn't think we will make it to our due date of April 4th, but thinks we can get to about week 39. We go back to the Dr. on Friday for our 38 week appointment and will learn more! So, here I am on the couch with my feet up and nothing to do, but watch TV, play on the computer, wait for Matt to come home and think about this precious little baby who is coming our way very soon...sooner than we thought apparently! I know God will continue to watch over us and when he is finished with this little masterpiece moving around in here, then we will be a happy family!! Thanks for all your calls, emails, prayers, etc. We love you all!

Did you get my "comment"? i don't know how in the world this thing works?
Tracccceeeeeey!
It's RueRue the Great here! I just want you and Matt to know that I am working extra hard on keeping your Mother calm and "in charge" while you just sit around and swell up! Just think, this will be one of the few times in your life that you can loose weight in about 5 - 10 minutes! Allen says to tell Matt to wear waders to the delivery room! When Jeff was born, he just stood there with his scrubs and shoe covers on, watching the "water" rise up to his knees! He never knew that I was that "full of it"! Take care, keep your legs up (and
together! - don't need any twins at this point) and
we will continue to pray for you, Matt and little whats her name!
Vanina & Priscy
We will pray for a healthty, bless delivery. May God be with you always
I have faith that Baby Girl Jackson will be perfect when she arrives! I'm sorry that I didn't get to hang out with you and the kids before you started maternity leave. Rest, keep your feet up, and try to enjoy your last weeks (days?) before BGJ gets here. Miss you!!!!
For the love, what is she waiting on???? We are ready to "meet" her and see pictures.... and learn her name! Hope she comes healthy, happy, and SOON!
Love ya!
Brooks and family
Tracey and Matt,
