During our visit to Tennessee Mamaw McCall and I had our picture taken with the quilt we made. I am very proud of this quilt and that she and I both had a part in it! I'll cherish it forever!

Great Grandmaw Bon and her 4 Great Grandbabies! So hard to get a decent picture of these kiddos!

My Mom's side of the family, The Abbott family, together at Christmas. Not everyone, but those who could make it! I always enjoy getting together with everyone. My Aunt Jean makes the BEST chicken and dumplins, just like my Mamaw Miss Abbott did!

Christmas Lights

This year a friend at church told us about a great place not too far away to look at Christmas lights! It is in Moreland, GA...about 15 minutes from our house. Matt, Katlyn, Pop, Lu-Lu, and I loaded up and started our trip with dinner and then lights! They were beautiful and more than I had ever seen put up by people in homes. We went through the loop 2 times and it was well worth it! Katlyn really enjoyed the lights and loved getting to sit up front to get a closer look! I think this may be a new tradition for us!

Katlyn and Daddy looking at all the lights and watching the "balloons" move around!

Katlyn enjoyed the second loop around on Pop's lap so she could see better!

Missy & Eric's Wedding!

On December 4th, Missy and Eric were married! It was a beautiful wedding and Katlyn was their flower girl! She did great and actually walked down the aisle, too! I have to say Matt and I were very proud of her because none of us knew what to expect out of a 20 month old flower girl! Everything was truly beautiful and it was such a special day! Congratulations to Missy and Eric! We love you both!

Thanksgiving

What a great Thanksgiving we had! So much to be thankful for! We spent the day with family at Aunt Debbie's house. Always tons of great food and fun catching up with everyone! Katlyn enjoyed playing in the leaves and was exhausted by the end of the night! We thank God for our precious family, the love we share, our health, and our happiness!

Sitting pretty with her leaves and acorn!

Rockin' on Mama's Old Rockin' Horse!

My Mom took care of this old rocking horse for many, well 30 something, years! One night we were over at their house and Katlyn hopped up on it and started rocking and saying, "rock, rock". This rocking horse was made by some friends of my parents when I was little and Mom says that the friend, Bruce, and my Dad would tell her to leave and let me rock because it made her so nervous. It doesn't really have a good stopper in the front or the back, but I think that makes it even more fun! Now it is Matt who stands and watches nervously! I'm glad it is still here for her to enjoy...I just hope it doesn't make Matt turn grey!!

Way back!

Halloween

So, I guess you could say I am a little behind on my blogging! I couldn't pass up these Halloween photos of Katlyn, though! She enjoyed going trick-or-treating this year and even attending the church Fall Festival, too. Right before we left to go trick-or-treating I decided to make her a quick bag. It's supposed to be a candy corn bag. We went to Grandad's house first and got to see Aunt Missy and Ms. Wanda, too! Katlyn got a bunch of treats there, including a pumpkin balloon! We went to Pop and Lu-Lu's later and Katlyn enjoyed playing with her treats from them and spending some time playing with their little neighbor, Sawyer, who was also trick-or-treating. She and Pop played with play-doh and then it was time for bed! She had a fun Halloween and we enjoyed watching her! Here's our Lil' Pebbles!
