Since we forgot to take any photos on Mother's day this year somehow, I decided to post this next group of pictures as my Mother's Day photos! My sweet friend, Cristina, and I took Katlyn to Serenbe for a day to take some photos in the wildflowers and around the beautiful area there. While we were there we took over 700 photos together. This next group of photos makes me smile every single time I look at them. I love my Katlyn more than I could have ever dreamed and when you put together that much love and have a beautiful scene of some of God's most gorgeous artwork for a backdrop, it just makes for some perfect photos! As a Mommy, I pray I will always be able to show Katlyn the beauty in the world and these photos just remind me that it is still out there!

Baby Dedication
We participated in a beautiful baby dedication at our church in May. The purpose of the dedication is that Matt, myself, and our family vow to raise Katlyn in a Christian home with prayer and love. Katlyn recieved a pretty little pink Bible and a certificate. We were really glad Granddad, Pop, and Lu-Lu were there to support us and take on the same responsibilities for our sweet girl! I wish I had taken a picture of all of us with Katlyn! Our sweet friend, Mrs. Nancy Zellner, made sure she was there, too, and I should have gotten a picture of her with Katlyn, as well! It was a great morning and I pray that we will make God proud of the parents we hope to be!

Tennessee Trip
We went to Tennessee to celebrate Daddy and Uncle Allen's 60th birthdays in April...yes, I am WAY behind on blogging once again! It was a nice weekend visit, of course jam packed with business, as usual! We got there Friday night and spent the night at Grandmaw Bon's house. We went and visited my Mamaw McCall for a little bit and finally got to see my Aunt Ran, as well as my Aunt Alta and Uncle Sam. That afternoon we went to the park with Meredith, Chris, LaRue, Allen, Jeff, Brooks, Braden, Kristy (for a little bit), Leah, Ray, Grandmaw Bon, Tommy, Julie, Andrea, Thoan, Katelyn, and Timmy to celebrate the Big Birthdays! We grilled out and enjoyed the awesome weather...oh, to be April and cool again! It's always fun to spend time with our families! We are blessed to be close enough to see each other as often as we do!
Katlyn playing with "Ugly Baby" doll at Mamaw McCalls. Meredith and I played with this doll 30 something years ago. Her neck has been sewn up many, many times, but she lives on!
Katlyn finally got to meet my sweet Aunt Ran this visit!
Of course Katlyn loved her! Sweet love!

My Mamaw McCall and a wiggly worm, Katlyn. It was a nice visit...Mamaw played her harmonica for Katlyn, so I bought her a little pink one when we got home. Matt managed to catch a video of her playing and Katlyn watching on his phone that I will cherish forever!
Jeff stealin' some sugar from my girl. He's such a good Daddy! He was there with the boys while Kristy was doing a 31 show and really had it together! He and Matt always impress me! ;o)

GA Aquarium
We took Katlyn to the Georgia Aquarium and she really enjoyed it. We did, too! She seemed to be a fan of the penguins and Beluga whales. There were too many people, but we made due! Here are some photos from our day.

Being at the aquarium didn't stop our girl from taking her nap when she got sleepy!
