Katlyn's 1st Birthday Party!

On the first day of spring we had Katlyn's 1st Birthday party! It was so much fun and she had lots of family and friends come and celebrate! We enjoyed a quick lunch of hot dogs, chips, and chili thanks to our great chefs, Pop and Chris, and Lu-Lu and Mrs. Denise, too! After lunch we all did a great job singing "Happy Birthday!" to Katlyn before she blew out the cakes on her first cake Mommy decorated for her. She dug in very daintily (is that even a word? or how you spell it?) and tasted a little bit! I decorated 4 dozen cupcakes to look like frogs, chicks, ladybugs, and bunnies since it was the first day of spring. Katlyn got a ton of great gifts from all who came and we had fun opening each gift and she has enjoyed each one of them! I'm still working on Thank You notes, so don't give up on me yet! I tried to entertain the kids with a bubble machine and sidewalk chalk, but they had lots of fun visiting our neighbors house and running up and down the hill. We were so blessed to have so many precious friends and family join us to celebrate the birthday of our precious little girl and can't thank each of you enough for coming and celebrating with us!
