I finally caught up with blogging up to Katlyn's Birthday party, so I am planning....I said planning, so you know how that goes....on posting her birthday party and birthday pictures tomorrow! It has been a wonderful week of celebrating our precious munchkin's 1st birthday and I can't wait to share all the memories from this week with each of you!

We have been so blessed to have my Mom watching Katlyn while we are at work and now she is also keeping my friend and co-workers little girl, Taylor. Mom had taken these pictures one day and I thought they were too cute not to post! I know Katlyn and Taylor are going to be great friends!

Katlyn has a new favorite face to make that has been caught on feel several times now! I like to call it the "Smoosh Mouth" face. Isn't it adorable? She is such a munchkin!

Katlyn started standing on her own a few days after she turned 11 months. We had tried and tried to get her on camera and finally caught her one night! Now she stands for much longer, but this is a special picture because it was when she was first figuring out she could do it! We love to watch her stand and look so stunned when she realizes what she is doing!

Clippin' Coupons

Thanks to my friend, Tasha, I have a new found hobby of clipping coupons! The other night, thankfully AFTER, clipping the coupons....Katlyn decided to help make sure I had cut out all the good ones! She made such a big mess and had so much fun! I guess one day soon I will have to teach her how to keep them organized...ha ha!

A Visit to Mrs. Kaye's

Lu-Lu and I took Katlyn to FINALLY meet our precious friend, Mrs. Kaye! It was a beautiful day and she her home is absolutely beautiful, too. We enjoyed spending a couple of hours with Mrs. Kaye and Mr. Jerry. Mrs. Kaye is very special to us and has been a wonderful friend for as long as I can remember! We still laugh about her babysitting me and me eating her Avon cherry chapstick in the bathroom! I wonder what kinds of silly things like that my Katlyn will do?!? It was a great visit and we hope to get to go visit again soon!

Priscy's Birthday Party!

Katlyn and I were invited to one of my former student's birthday parties a few weeks ago. Priscy was in my class when she was 3 and is now in 1st grade and just happens to be at my school still so I get to see her nearly every day. Her family is precious and when we got our invitation we couldn't wait to go! Last year I was pretty pregnant and missed her party! Priscy loves babies and was really proud Katlyn came to her party. She held Katlyn while "Tater the Clown" performed and did a great job! It was a great party, as always! Thanks for having us!!

Just Gotta' Have It!

I'm getting all of Katlyn's 1st Birthday party pictures together, but wanted to post some pictures of some fun times we have had working our way up to our sweet baby girl's big day! I will be working hard on posting some pictures every night this week! I am sorry I have been so behind on our blog, but we have been super busy and loved every second of it! Here is Katlyn getting a little "paci fix"! I was letting her play in the dining room and when I saw she had found her pacifier still hooked to her carseat and that she was actually sucking on it ATTACHED to her car seat, I had to grab the camera and take a picture! She is so funny and I love that she didn't care it was attached....she just had to have it!
