11 Months!

I really can't even believe our Katlyn is now 11 months old! Time is just flying by and we really are having so much fun! Each day with our sweet girl is truly a blessing! She is getting so close to walking, but just won't brave it yet! She walks behind her push toys and goes back and forth if you help her turn it. She hasn't figured out how to turn do it herself yet. We crack up when she does her "downward dog" walk. She puts her feet and her hands on the ground and bottom in the air and crawls/walks. It's pretty funny! She is still a really good and happy baby and sleeps through the night nearly every night! She is the light of our life and the love of our life, too! Here are her 11 month pictures. She was a little mad that I took my lens cap from her, but I really didn't want it in all the pictures. I am guessing next month will be the last of these little monthly photo shoots. I think we will start going for 1/2 year and year! It's pretty tough to get her to stay still unless she is sleeping!!

February Snow!

Today we really got some snow and a snow day!! About 3 and 1/2 inches! That's more than I can remember in a very long time! It was a great way to start off our winter break! We have the next 9 days to spend together and today was the first one! We took Katlyn out a couple of times in it and she really liked it! It was cute to watch her smile and react to flakes falling on her nose and eyelash es. We helped her make a little snow angel, too! She liked crunching in the snow and we let her taste a little, which she liked! Matt built us a great snowman and Katlyn and I watched from inside before joining him again for some photos. We took a ton of pictures and here they are......

Hand Me Downs

My Mom kept a bunch of mine and Meredith's baby clothes and I try to take pictures of Katlyn in any of our outfits. This sweater was worn by both Meredith and I and I think it looks super cute on Katlyn Bug, too! We love hand me downs and I think a 30 year old hand me down is really special!

Baby LuLu!

I love this little outfit! The brand is 'Baby LuLu' and it is so soft. Now, of course I really liked the fact that it has "LuLu" in the name, too! Katlyn loves her Lu-Lu, that is for sure! She loves to listen and talk to her on the phone and I know they have a blast together during the day while we are working. We are really blessed to have Lu-Lu to take care of Katlyn and I am so glad she and Pop are so close to us! Here are some photos of Katlyn and her Lu-Lu in her sweet little outfit!

Mommy and Me Swim Class

Katlyn and I started a Mommy and Me Swim class in February and we are really loving it! The water is always 90 degrees and we really like that part! Our friend Sally and her little boy, Tucker (he is just 6 weeks younger than Katlyn), invited us to join. Katlyn and Tucker are so stinking adorable in the pool! We splash, blow bubbles, kick, float, and play with water toys. Mrs. Jamie, the instructor, sings fun songs with us, too! Katlyn isn't too much of a fan of going under water yet...she drinks the pool and coughs, which I'm not a fan of either! She does enjoy it though and we love our time with Sally and Tuck! We look forward to it each Tuesday and Thursday! I'll post more photos later!

How Beautiful!

Last week I stayed home one day with a kidney stone and decided to take some pictures of our beautiful girl. She loves to have her picture taken and I love taking pictures of her....I know, you would never know that! This picture is one of my favorites of her. She just makes our heart melt and we just can't help but to stop nearly everyday and think "How Beautiful!" God has many masterpieces and we believe Katlyn is definitely one of them! We are so blessed with her health and her happiness and how BEAUTIFUL she makes life!

My New Swing!

Katlyn got a new swing for Christmas and Matt and it would be perfect in the basement until it gets warmer outside. Matt did a great job installing it...so good I am pretty sure I could even safely swing in it! He's such a good Daddy! Katlyn loves it as long as you don't swing her too high or too fast! She is still really little in it, but I guess that just means it will last us for many years to come!

10 Months!

I'm late again on posting! Katlyn turned 10 months old January 24th and we had our monthly photo shoot! Apparently, I really can't believe she is 10 months because I took about 30 pictures of her with a "9" before Matt said, "Tracy, how many months do you think Katlyn is?" and I realized what I had done! She is still crawling like crazy and keeping us on our toes! She cruises along the couch and chairs and our new favorite thing to watch her do is push her shopping cart Aunt Debbie gave her! She is precious!! She gets super loud while she's "shopping"! She can say "Dada", "Mama", "baba", "Pop", and has a ton of other sweet sounds we just can't get enough of! She claps and still loves to play Peek-a-Boo! She likes to look at her books and play with all her toys! She is just so much fun and we can't believe she will be 1 so soon!

A Wonderful Family Weekend!

A few weekends ago Mom, Dad, Aunt LaRue, and Uncle Allen got the whole family a chalet to enjoy for a couple of nights! We all had a blast, ate too much, played games, caught up, and just had a great time! We arrived late Friday night and it was so cold the rain had froze on the driveway to the chalet so we had to very carefully walk up the driveway since the car wouldn't go! The guys took several trips back and forth to get all our stuff inside. Everyone had a room. The place had 7 rooms and was very nice. Saturday was a blast, too! We had a great breakfast of apple rolls made by many people, played some games, enjoyed sitting outside, resting, and enjoying eachother. We had a great lunch and dinner and after dinner we played "Dirty Santa". Everyone ended up with some pretty interesting gifts and lots of laughs! Chris lead a devotion and prayer after the game and then we stayed up late playing a new card game Meredith and Chris taught all of us. We all slept great and woke up Sunday morning ready to head out for breakfast at the Pancake Pantry in Gatlinburg. Katlyn enjoyed her first pancake, well, nibbles of pancake, there, too. We did a little shopping and then headed home. It was a wonderful weekend and we were so glad we could all get together with the people who will always be there for us.......our FAMILY!
