Katlyn's 6 Months Photos

Today we had Katlyn's 6 month photos taken. These six months have flown by and we are enjoying every single second with Katlyn! We never dreamed we could have so much love for this little person, but God has definitely given us infinite love for her and she is our world! Matt and I were so happy with the photo session today! Katlyn was happy the entire time and we got a ton of great shots! They are so hard to choose from!! Luckily, we get the CD with all the photos taken. She is now sitting up by her self for a few minutes, but we stay right there for when she becomes the Leaning Tower of Katlyn! She rolled over again tonight and is all about getting what she wants by moving around. We are so blessed to have our sweet little munchkin and hope you enjoy the photos as much as we do!

Katlyn Loves Her Grandparents!

Sunday we celebrated Grandparents Day! After church we met up with Granddad and Aunt Nebo for lunch and then visited the cemetary. We enjoyed dinner at Pop and Lu Lu's house. Katlyn is so loved by all of her grandparents and she loves each of them, too! Katlyn also sent her Great Grandmaw Bon a Happy Grandparents Day card, too and she called to say how much she liked it! Happy Grandparent's Day!!! We Love You All!!!!

Katlyn Singing Video

Katlyn always fights bedtime and does it best by singing! This is the sweetest sound we know right now and we try to catch as much as we can on video! This is a video of Katlyn tonight after falling asleep while eating and then doing everything she could to stay awake after that! You'll even see a yawn! Night Night, Everyone!

A Surprise for Lu Lu!

Friday night we surprised Lu Lu with a party to congratulate her on her 20 years driving the school bus and thank her for making the best decision EVER to stay home and take care of Katlyn! We are thankful for the 20 safe years she had driving the bus and that she was always home when we were. She started when I was in 4th grade and even drove for my students my first year teaching. I know there are many parents who will miss my Mama driving their children and that no one can replace her and the love she has for each of the students she drove. We see kids/adults who rode her bus around town and they all remember "Mrs. Lynnette". Now she and Katlyn are enjoying their time together and I hope she isn't missing "big yellow" too much!! Thanks to everyone for coming Friday and making it a special surprise!

I thought the cake turned out perfect! Our friend, Ms. Brenda Mask, made it. She makes all our cakes and they are THE best!! It said "20 Years Driven, Now the Lu Lu Life She's Livin'!"

So she's had apples, sweet potatoes, bananas, sweet peas, pears, and now she is eating carrots. She really likes them! Guess who fed her tonight!!!

Sleepin' in her Big Bed!

Katlyn has officially outgrown the bassinet she has been sleeping in for over 5 months! We could hear her beating the sides and thumping around in it and had decided that Labor Day weekend would be the weekend to move her into her "Big Bed". Yes, it was much harder on us than it was her....she didn't mind it too much! Go ahead and laugh, but we slept on the air mattress in her room for the weekend just to make sure she adjusted well and she slept the nights away! We were given a video monitor and it is so nice to be able to see her any time of night and hear her, as well! Our little Munchkin sleepin' in her Big Bed!! What's next??
